Makes our crappy well water wonderful. We change ours 2 times a year. Hard to find, so buy up if you do find them. Like others, busted the turn knob thing during instalation, but was sent a replacement quickly by Culligan for free.

I live in Shanghai and I needed better drinking water so I decided to try this product out. It works great, no more taste after I installed it, however, I agree with some of the other comments where it says that they had to replace it before the 500 gallon mark. I am also trying to look for a larger water volume product such as a 1000 gallon filtering capacity becuase throwing away the cartridges is such a drain on the environment (they are rather huge) so I am now looking at the preferred 250. Anyone used that before?

Oh so much easier to change filters...spectacularly easy! The water even runs a little faster than with my prior filter and it won't burst the casing and leak all over the floor of the cupboard and destroy it...I highly recomment this product. I have one under the sink and for the ice maker. Superb!

What can I say... it's a level 4 promises to remove lead, mbte.. it's one of the easiest replacement cartridges to change.. just hope it works:)
