I love this. Quick and easy install that even the "non-handyman" types (like me) can do. Makes me feel a lot better about the water I am drinking. I'm also more aware of the need to drink water, as this is a symbol of that that I can see every time I walk by faucet. Has definitely helped me to make positive changes in my life as far as keeping hydrated. :) I've also saved a lot of money on bottled water.

This is a great little filter. Not big and bulky like the PUR filter I had before the Culligan. The only thing that threw me off a bit when I received it was the Mnfg. date on the box. It said 2003. Somebody somewhere must have bought a whole sh_t load of these things and had trouble getting rid of them for awhile. I don't know what the life span for the filter element is. Seven years seems like a long time to me! But it does take the chlorine smell out of my water and makes it taste clean.

Purchased this faucet filter device in November 2009 after growing tired of buying and transporting drinking water. Overall I feel it is an outstanding product. It is relatively easy to install--able to do it myself, although manufacturer's directions not very clear. I like that it does not leak. It is compact and non-intrusive. The taste of the water is comparable to brands that I bought in past. There are a few things I feel could be improved, however: the water flow from filter is narrow and slow; the stem that activates filtered water does not always retract on its own; and the device does not indicate when it is time to replace the filter. Otherwise, I highly recommend this product.

As other reviewers have mentioned, I too was one of those that thought faucet mounted filters are just not built to last and it was normal to replace the entire contraption after a few months. That was until I read the reviews for the Culligan Faucet Filter and decided to give it a try. I've had it almost a year now and there no cracks or leaks whatsoever!!! The only thing that doesn't work anymore is the little button that's suppose to automatically turn itself off from filtered water back to non-filtered when the water is turned off (which is why I gave it only 4 stars instead of 5). But to me, that's no biggie. I just push the pin back in myself. The water tastes great! No sediments in the water. Would definitely recommend.

Was shipped quick - screwed on in seconds... didn't work. Filter cartridge was blocked - didn't even let air pass through. Ended up tossing it, what a waste.
