I broke my Brita water pitcher and decided to switch to PUR because of the size, dispenser spigot and the positive reviews on Amazon. The first time I filled it with water I kept it on the counter (fortunately!) and soon noticed water pooling around the base of the dispenser. I kept mopping it up and then realized it was leaking out of the bottom. I'm sending it back today. Very disappointed.

I've had this since the fall and I really like it. I brew a lot of coffee and like that it holds a lot of water and I'm not having to fill it up two or three times a day. I think the taste of the water is fine. I don't taste and 'fridge funk' (and believe me I would toss the whole thing if I did) It fits well in the fridge and is convenient. I'd buy this again. The filter seems to last longer than advertised.

I've had this for almost a month now and have nothing but praise for it. Very easy to set up and use and the water tastes great. Bought 2 extra replacement filters but haven't gotten a chance to use them yet. For now, I have had no problems with this and I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

I ordered on a Friday and received the items( PUR DS-1800Z 2 STAGE WATER DISPENSER (2X) and a pack of 3 FILTERS) on Tuesday. I am happy and satisfied with both the products and services that I got. I've ordered with AMAZON before and have always been happy with their fast delivery.
The WATER DISPENSER is just the perfect size for our refrigerator. I placed it on the topmost shelf and I was still able to fit a new BRITA Pitcher along side it. PUR made a better tasting filtered water than the BRITA that I got. Even my husband agreed.
So I highly recommend this product.

I'm in no way certified to explain the filter or what it does. All I can say is when I place a regular glass of water from the faucet next to a glass from the dispenser, there is clearly (pun intended) a visible difference. Also, I can't taste the water that came from the dispenser as opposed to that of the faucet. I just have to be under the impression this thing is doing it's job.
Also, it has greatly encouraged everyone in my home to drink more water! Maybe it's just something psychological but whatever it is, it works.
