Product is the same as what you can get at any Lowe's. It works well and at our family's level of usage it lasts about 3 months. Best part about ordering from Amazon: don't have to spend gas and time schlepping out to the nearest Lowe's.

I think all the people complaining about filters and flow rates bought the wrong filter----this one is a single-pack and is listed as "fast-fill". I have had no problems---just make sure you bleed the air out of the system or your water dispenser will drip----simply install the filter and then fill about 5 pitchers worth of water and the dripping will stop. with freee shipping this was at least ten bucks cheaper than stores. make sure you get this one and not the 2-pack since I don't think they are labeled "fast-fill"
