FOUR ZeroWater Replacement Filters Most conventional carbon filters only filter certain substances from your water. Mid October last year, I ordered a package of 4 filters from Amazon. Few days later, the filters arrived with the box was opened and each individual filter was in opened (almost) clear no-brand plastic bag with water drops inside. At the time, I didn't return or complain to Amazon because I thought all filters were rinse and packaged that way from manufacture. Until last week, I was about to reorder the filter and found few reviews say Amazon sold used filters. I switched to order from another online store to see the different. The shipping take a bit longer than expected (1 week). But the box is in good shape and sealed with sticker. Inside the box all filers are individual put in manufacturer sealed packages. So, it seems Amazon sold me used filters at the time as well!

I was having the problems to a higher extreme than most of you complaining about replacemnet cost. My filters last only about six days, my water meas 781 to 731 depending on the day (I hae no idea why). If you go to the site or read your manual they tell you that if you are using an excessive amount of filters call them to see how they can help. When I did they told me they sold the filters in sets of 16 for $159.99, which break down to about $10 a filter. Which saves you quite a bit. So if you are feeling that the replacement cost is to much call the 1800 number in your manual thats what I did. That cost includes shipping. It's like buying two and getting a filter free for every two you buy.

The filters came in a box surrounded by Styrofoam and were not clean. I needed to wash them off carefully before using them. They filter the water very well and the water tastes great. If the filters lasted longer, I would've given 5 stars.

My water is very hard and does not taste good. With the ZeroWater system I have great tasting water and I can use my own glass and re-useable bottles. The filters are expensive but I will keep buying them because I save on buying bottled water and only buy now when I travel and can not refill from the home despenser.

I've used these filters for several years. The water tastes so clean. I really know how pure it is because I test it with my TDS meter. I get zero dissolved solids in my water, just as advertised. This is a huge improvement over the tap water quality. In addition, the filters are super easy to change.
